Make your local FedEx Office store your final destination where our team members will carefully pack almost anything – from bicycles to golf clubs. If you chose to do it on your own, double box fragile contents and use cushioning wrap with bubbles facing inward to provide protection around items.
2. Consider an alternate destination and direct it to arrive at your nearest FedEx Office.
Go to fedex.com and request to redirect your delivery to one of thousands of FedEx Office locations. Packages will be held at no added cost for up to five business days.
3. Request a signature.
Many packages today are sent without requiring a signature for delivery. If you’re shipping something of high value, you can require a signature for packages to be released. Either the shipper or the recipient can make this request.
4. Request a vacation hold.
Taking a holiday trip to visit family or friends? You can request a vacation hold on all shipments for up to 14 days to be safely held for pick up.
