Kevin Anthony Miller, a lifelong resident of Taos, lost his valiant battle with cancer on January 18, 2017. He was taken too soon, just six days after turning 46.

Kevin was a dedicated father, an adventurous athlete, and a loyal and compassionate friend. On any given weekend you could find him riding bikes with his kids, telemarking down Sundance, climbing a 14er with his friends or running a marathon. His greatest source of pride and his self-proclaimed crowning achievement were his children, son Huxley Atticus and daughter Hadley Helena. It was for them that he lived, for them he fought to survive.

Kevin is survived by his parents Lillian Rael Miller and Jacob Miller; brother John and sister-in-law Phyllis, precious niece Reagan whom he loved like a daughter, nephew Warren; brother Mark and his wife Aida, nephews Carlos and Mateo; Grandparents, Antonio Ben and Evangeline, Uncle Joe Rael; Uncle Gary Medina and Aunt Teri, cousins Chasity, Melissa and Matt; Aunt Ann; Uncle Dan and Aunt Pat, cousins Felipe and Juan; Uncle Ben Jr and Aunt Rose, cousins Adrian and Justin; cousins Horacio Trujillo, Lee Ann Yardman, Donnie Parrett and Kim Airhart; dear close friends Alexsis and Alejandro Blake; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a date to be announced.

Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
