The Taos Municipal School District is hosting a furniture sale this weekend.
The sale is scheduled to take place Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Taos Municipal School food warehouse at 4048 State Road 68 in Llano Quemado.
According to TMSD Superintendent Lillian Torrez, the sale will include metal cabinets, various shelving, office desks and student desks. Prices for items start at $5.
The furniture accumulated in a storage unit as it was decommissioned from use in classrooms and offices.
Additionally, the district will auction off seven vehicles in February.
