Thin political ice
I feel compelled to respond to Ms. Ferguson’s recent “Give President Trump a chance” letter to The Taos News.
While I agree our children should not be exposed to the sick hatred that has been fulminating in the last two months since the election, we mustn’t forget the actions and words of candidate Trump in the preceding year to which they were relentlessly subjected. Vitriolic diatribes against Latinos, Muslims, the media, the disabled and women were hardly educational fodder for optimism and hope. The negative reactions are the knee-jerk responses of offended, frightened and outraged citizens in reaction to Trump’s despicable conduct.
Please be reminded — Trump won the electoral vote, but lost the popular vote (of the citizens) by millions.
We all need to calm down, take a deep breath and give Donald Trump a chance. Let’s pray he understands how thin the ice is on which he skates.

California is infested with millions of illegals who remain there because their relatives are running the state and local governments, so they easily get their fraudulent ID's fraudulent social security cards and fraudulent voter cards attempting to throw the election to the liberal Democrats, who pay them for their votes with government entitlements.
the only sick hatred and violence i'm seeing is coming the democrats who have taken to the streets to light cars on fire and smash the windows of businesses and assault people for doing nothing but not agreeing with you on politics. our children are seeing you do all this and i believe it is you who are on thin ice. face it, trump won because people did not want to go to war with russia over safe-zones. people did not want to let in a bunch of muslim extremists for whom there is no vetting. liberals are becoming increasingly hostile and that is why you lost. sad but true.
