TISA students collect donations for Taos Feeds Taos
The fourth-grade class of the Taos Integrated School of the Arts (TISA) are collecting donations today for Taos Feeds Taos.
Taos Feeds Taos is a nonprofit that distributes food baskets to about 1,100 Taos County families in need during the holiday season. The group takes non-perishable foods and cash donations to purchase items like hams, fruits and vegetables. They also are in need of volunteers.
The class is gathering non-perishable food items outside the Super Save at 519 Paseo Del Pueblo Sur until 4 p.m.
Taos Feeds Taos is having its ninth annual food drive and benefit show at the KTAOS Solar Center tonight at 7 p.m. Admission to the show is free with five cans of food or other non-perishable items.
